Fremantle Prison Gatehouse Lighting
Fremantle Prison welcomes community applications to illuminate the Gatehouse in selected colours to support and raise awareness for significant causes and events.
As a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an iconic part of Fremantle’s identity, the Prison aims to create a welcoming and memorable experience for visitors and the local community.
Feature lighting plays an important role in this, highlighting the site’s unique heritage, activating the precinct for special events and awareness campaigns, and strengthening our connection with community partners.

Booking Requests
To make a booking request please email marketing@fremantleprison.com.au with following details:
- Organisation name
- Event, appeal, or cause
- Proposed lighting dates
- Preferred colour(s)
- Any associated messaging, logos, links, or hashtags (these can be provided later, up to one week before display)
Our team will review your application in line with our Guidelines and current availability. You will be contacted via email once your application has been assessed and confirmed.
