| Tunnels Tour |
Participants must:
- Be over the ages of 12 years.
- Be physically fit and able.
- Have the ability to climb a vertical ladder independently.
- Be able to crouch down or hunch over while walking.
- Have the ability to understand tour conditions and follow staff instructions.
- Strictly meet physical weight requirements: minimum 40 kg (88.5 lbs), maximum 140 kg (308 lbs), to ensure the correct fitting of supplied safety equipment.
- Not suffer from a fear of heights, vertigo, or claustrophobia.
- Bring or wear socks (boots provided).
- Wear comfortable clothing.
- Arrive sober (mandatory breath test applies).
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to tour departure time. Latecomers will not be admitted.
- Wash their hands at the conclusion of the tour.
Important Information:
- The tour duration is between 2 - 2.5 hours
- Minimum age is 12 years. Children between 12 and 15 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
- To ensure a safe experience, participants may be weighed onsite to ensure adherence to weight requirements, at the discretion of Fremantle Prison staff. Refunds will not be provided for those who have booked without ensuring they meet weight and size requirements.

All participants must wear a helmet provided for the Tunnels Tour. Cultural or religious head coverings are permitted, provided they can be safely worn beneath the helmet. Participants are responsible for ensuring their head covering is compatible; it is recommended that an alternative be brought if there is any uncertainty.
- It is recommended that at least two adults accompany groups of two or more children to ensure an adequate level of supervision.
- Should a child be unable to complete the tour for any reason, they must be accompanied by at least one parent or guardian.
- Children aged 16 and 17 must have declaration forms signed by a parent or guardian but may participate in the tour without an accompanying adult.
- Access to and from the tunnel system requires participants to lock into a vertical ladder system and descend/ascend 20 metres.
- Personal belongings such as bags, wallets, phones, and cameras (including GoPros) are not permitted on the tour. A complimentary locker is provided to secure belongings for the duration of the tour.
- This tour is not recommended for pregnant women or for people who have a fungal allergy or severe asthma.
- It is a requirement that ALL PARTICIPANTS sign the following Declaration Form before participating in the Tunnels Tour (hard copies are available on arrival).

- These tours happen after dark, which might be scary for some people.
- Torches are provided to visitors so you can see where you’re going and watch out for any tripping hazards.
- Content warning: There are jump scares, sudden noises, includes entry to the Gallows (former place of execution) that some visitors may find confronting.
