Experience the atmosphere of Fremantle Prison’s East Workshops during a day that includes panel events with writers of crime fiction and non-fiction including Alan Carter, David Whish-Wilson, Emma Pignatiello, Ruth McIver, Assistant Commissioner Arlene Mavratsou, Glynn Greensmith, Meg Caddy, Geoffrey Robertson KC (joining online), and many more.

Topics include Murder & the Media, International Crimes and Consequences, Crime and Punishment, Aiding & Abetting; the rise of techno crime and The Crime Scene.

Plus, you can enjoy your crime with coffee and crepes - food trucks will be on site throughout the day!

  • There is no smoking or vaping inside the prison building or grounds.
