Fremantle Prison charges an $11.00 per person venue hire cost, which includes venue hire until midnight. Please note there is a minimum venue hire charge of $700.00 for evening functions.
Fremantle Prison offers a discounted rate for day time use of the Special Handling Unit meeting room or East Workshops.
As Fremantle Prison is a significant heritage site, it is necessary for all functions to have security officers present, unless otherwise stated. Security is charged in addition to venue hire. The type of function and the number of guests attending will determine the number of security personnel required. As a rule, two security officers are required for groups of 50 and under, then an additional guard for every 50 persons thereafter. The security will be booked 30 minutes prior to the start of the function. Fremantle Prison will supply the security personnel.
Security fees are as follows:
Monday-Friday: $55 per hour per guard
Saturday: $65 per hour per guard
Sunday: $85 per hour per guard
There is a minimum charge of four hours for each Security Officer.
